I am an Olympic Weightlifter and CrossFitter and currently train out of Osprey Athletics in Bedford, a place I consider my second home. I have been weightlifting since February 2017, and qualified for the Canadian Junior National Weightlifting Championships in January 2018. Throughout my journey in CrossFit and Weightlifting I have learned so much about how our bodies move and recover under extreme tension and weight, and floating is one of the most effective ways to recover from intensive training. Floating lets me take the weight off of my body and gives my muscles time to recover, it also provides me with the perfect place to visualize and prepare for competitions with no distractions. Through CrossFit and Weightlifting I have found an amazing, supportive, and kind community that has become my second family, and I have been given so many amazing opportunities, such as being a Float Ambassador.
