Calling All Shrimp Spines! by Float Ambassador, Elle <3

Calling all shrimp spines! šŸ¦

Immediate availability for a shrimp-spined individual!

Join us in our slow-paced, maximally healing environment where you will be (lovingly) guided in your development from an achy little shrimp to a svelte as heck sword fish (or something).

Previous experience (not required, but considered an asset):

  • Sitting for long hours at a desk in a crappy corporate-supplied ā€œergonomicā€ chair
  • Doom-scrollers with moderate-to-advanced tech neck;
  • Nail techs, lash techs and other estheticians with superior hunch skills;
  • Video-game enthusiasts with record hours logged;
  • Book worms who most prefer being cocooned in the craziest positions for marathon reading sessions;
  • Mechanics, plumbers and other trades persons who must wedge themselves into the darndest of spaces to get the work done;

WE WANT YOU!!

…To try your first float, and maybe make it a practice?

The best thing about regular floats, other than:

  • The immediate nervous system relief on entering the tank
  • The no-way-out-of-it disconnect from the ā€œrealā€ world and your tech
  • The well deserved ā€œme timeā€ of it all

Is the open bodied posture you can hold in the tank effortlessly!

Maybe your preferred floating style is arms-down, but for me? A shrimp-spined nail tech who spends far too many hours each week hunched over their clients and complaining about neck and back pain; it is chest open and arms overhead all the way!

The extremely salient nature of the tank water, coupled with your little head donut allows the body to completely open up into a posture we aren’t often granted in our gravity-defined daily lives. Your 75-minute float erasing hours spent hunched, stooped, and otherwise twisted into odd postures of the spine? YES PLEASE.Add to this that your ability to get into some really gratifying side bend positions will have you feeling years younger in your body!

Try as you might, it is impossible to be postural and ergonomic every minute of every day.

If you aren’t already sold on floating to lower your stress, centre your energy, then do it for your wonky posture, your spine will thank you, mine definitely did!.
