In the early months of 2018, we were approached by Karen from Little Windows Photography with an idea of a Float Photography project. Karen envisioned a plan where she could get to know some of the amazing floaters we host at our space, learn why it is they float and snap a photo of them pre- or post- float. We are honoured by the openness and honesty shared by our float fam; it is a privilege to provide this service to our community.
“Leah received her first float as a gift from her partner. Although she was somewhat neutral about her first experience while in the tank, afterwards, as the music played and she stood in the shower, she found herself feeling a deep, overwhelming happiness and she couldn’t stop smiling. Leah is a G.P., a triathlete and the mother of a three year old boy, so it goes without saying that she is extremely busy. Her time in the tank is some of her only time alone. It’s a time when she is officially off-duty and can completely relax. Sometimes, floating is exactly the medicine this doctor needs.”
