It’s really, really official

The contracts are signed with Employment Nova Scotia (ENS) and Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development (CEED) — wowzers, it’s really happening — I’m officially a CEEDling!

Not familiar with the CEED Self-Employed Benefits program? In conjunction with ENS, CEED offers training and guidance for eligible new entrepreneurs to start up their new business.  Participants (me!) must meet a number of requirements, reach milestones and have a successful business up-and-running by week 20 of the program.  It’s a daunting feat, especially for someone like myself who will require funding and physical space for their business to operate from AND leasehold renovations AND will incorporate AND *phewf, deep breaths*.  But this is what it’s all really about, no? Living the dream? 100%.

The next few months are going to be a whirlwind and an exercise in patience, balance, positivity and fuelling this adventure with the burning desire to see it come to fruition.  BIG love and thanks in advance for your patience and support — I swear those much delayed responses to emails and text messages will be worth it when you’re floating your worries away.

Endless love & gratitude.
