From the beautiful soul of Mariah:

I work with the Energy Body & the Physical Body.

My focus is on healing the nervous system as well as reminding the body it can breathe deeply AND relax physically. The Nervous system has two main leaders, the Central Nervous System(CNS) and the Peripheral Nervous System(PNS).

The CNS is made up of nerves in the brain and spinal cord, I call the “Head Honcho” the one that calls the shots. It Controls your ability to understand language, be creative, control emotions and even your stabilize your personality! While the PNS is made up of 100 billion nerves that connect to the CNS, you probably have seen them on images wrapping around the whole body.

And within the PNS there are two sections: the Autonomic nervous system that lets all y’all blood flow and heartbeat, and then the Somatic Nervous System that allows you to consciously choose to move and dance around.

Then the Autonomic Nervous System is even broken down into two more sections: the Sympathetic Nervous System that tells you when you – GOTTA GET THE FLUFF OUT OF THERE or GET YOUR BOXING GLOVES ON and the Parasympathetic Nervous System that controls when you REST or DIGEST!

SOOO in SHORT: If your Nervous System is not on PAR or Healthy, you probably are not able to flow through life easily. Everything seems to be a large task and your living in survival mode… most of the time. A prime example would be having anxiety around every new experience. That is why most of us don’t ENJOY CHANGE. We automatically think that change will ask us to DO MORE THINGS, which then causes us to spiral down into fear mode. If your nervous system is compromised in any capacity your first thoughts around new things are “I won’t be able to handle it”.

This year I am incorporating more healing to the nervous system as if it’s not strengthened, all the other healing work will not matter. You have to have a strong nervous system in order to integrate all the spiritual work you have done. As digging deep into our subconscious and blocks in the body requires strength.
