In Canada, 10-15% of people are living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), making it one of the main digestive disorders in Canada. There are even more people living with undiagnosed digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating, constipation, etc.

New research is supporting a dietary plan that may be helpful with IBS symptoms and for those who are experiencing any of the above symptoms, yet have been tested negative for celiac disease.     I’ve been following The FODMAP diet for the past 6 weeks. My doctor diagnosed me with ibs and said carbs and sugars he believes are the culprit. The diet has made a difference, but still having some complications. My GI specialist has referred me to a dietician but I haven’t heard anything. I would like to book an appointment.
