Each person who works here has a deep connection with music. Today, we were discussing albums that we listen to post-float and thought “heck, let’s share this with our pals” and ask YOU, our dear float family:
What tunes do you put on to keep the bliss running through your bones?
It is no secret that I am head-over-heels in love with Bon Iver. I have been obsessively listening to “22, A Million” since its release in September. Justin Vernon is magical – from another planet, I assume. Palmer, myself and even Kim have spent time discussing this album and have concluded, in Palmer’s words “It is his Opus”.
Post-float, I rush home to do one of two things: put on the vinyl and lay on my floor pretending I’m in That 70s Show OR grab my good headphones, lay on the couch, close my eyes and listen to every tiny detail that now pops in perspective.
The album highlight is track #4 titled “29 #Strafford APTS” — I dare you to listen to it without wanting to press Repeat One on your player.
Feel free to share your tunes of choice below. We will be highlighting the post-float (or even during-float) tunes from the team here with hopes of inspiring you to take your float home and make it last a lil’ longer.
Your’s in floaty, musical bliss,
DJ L-Diddy
