Em knew from a young age they wanted to work in the Health and Wellness field. It wasn’t until watching a demonstration of Acupuncture and Fire cupping in high school, where they were absolutely blown away and amazed by what they saw. Em knew then that’s exactly what they wanted to do as a career.

Em has been passionate about TCM since beginning their studies in 2017 at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Seeing how Acupuncture can transform patients mental and physical health is a huge motivator for Em to keep learning and growing as a practitioner to help more and more people in the community. Coming to work every day doesn’t feel like work when you are surrounded by what you love, which is helping people heal.

As much as Em loves TCM they also love the great outdoors. On Ems days off you can find them driving around Nova Scotia with the car packed full of snacks to adventure all of the beautiful sites Nova Scotia has to offer, especially places with big trees and waterfalls.
