Alicia Wrightadmin

Alicia Wright

Alicia has been practicing as a registered massage therapist in the Halifax/Dartmouth area since 2005. She’s a graduate of ICT Northumberland College and returned as an instructor for a 5 year period. Her foundation primarily lies in a clinical & collaborative physical therapy setting but in 2015, she kissed the corporate-run physiotherapy rehab world good bye and opened an independent practice. She is thriving in the health and wellness community and loves having more freedom to infuse an ever evolving energetic approach to her already deep and intuitive treatments. Alicia has long been an active member of the community and is passionate about it’s growth and promotion, which is why she’s so happy to now be a part of its small business sector.

Alicia’s wellness philosophy is still deeply rooted in a collaborative belief…educating people about the benefits of regular massage therapy, while also encouraging the use of all other forms of bodywork and self care to create a healthy and optimal physical/energetic/emotional balance. Outside of the love of her profession, Alicia has a deeply devoted yoga practice, loves all things food & wine, has a big crush on our city and requires frequent recharging at an Eastern Shore beach with her painfully needy rescue dog. She also frequently contemplates the universe…or the most recent food festival…on her blog as cheap therapy. Alicia is thrilled to have The Floatation Centre as an additional resource in the city and floats herself on the regular!
